Recent warm weather and rain is sure to put a wrench in the remainder of ice fishing season in the Duluth/Superior area but the walleyes are still biting on the St. Louis River system! Favorite approach is a load rattle bait coupled with a dead stick with a lively minnow.
Best times of the day are first couple hours of daylight as well as last hour before dark. Favorite spots are out of the main current and small humps that come out of deeper water topping out in that 5 to 8 foot ranger.
